RankShot

Delete your account

How to permanently delete your RankShot account, and exactly what goes with it.

From the mobile app

  1. Open RankShot and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Read what will be deleted, confirm with your password, and tap Permanently delete my account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You will be signed out on every device.

From the website

Sign in and use the same option under Settings. If you can no longer sign in — for example you have lost access to your email — write to us from the contact form and we will verify your identity and delete the account for you within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your email address and password
  • Your notification and email preferences
  • Your active sessions on every device
  • The link between your RankShot account and your APA player record

All of this is removed immediately and permanently. It is not retained in a recoverable form, and there is no grace period in which the account can be restored.

What is not deleted, and why

Your APA match history — the matches, scores, and skill levels shown in the app — is your league's record, not ours. It is published by the APA, it appears in your team's standings for every other member of your division, and it continues to exist on the APA's own site whether or not you have a RankShot account. Deleting your account unlinks it from you here; it does not and cannot erase your league's record of matches that were played.

To have your data removed from the APA's own systems, you will need to contact the APA directly. RankShot is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Poolplayers Association.
